Toronto Poetry Slam's Anything Goes Show is Back!

You're not ready for this slam, folks!

At this show, we throw the rules out the window and give you a no-rules slam! Poets can slam with props and costumes and backing tracks and instruments and juggling acts. Two rules do apply though: no nudity and the time limit remains at 3 minutes 10 seconds.

Signup at 730pm sharp with Cass, the host.

Open mic available as well.

Toronto Poetry Slam at the Festival of Authors featuring Ian Keteku

It's an annual tradition: the Toronto Poetry Slam show at the Toronto Festival of Authors at Harbourfront Centre!
Hosted by Dave Silverberg, this two-round slam has a later doors and start time than usual - 830pm doors/signup 9pm show.
And it's free!

NOTE: This free event is AT CAPACITY.
Registered attendees are encouraged to arrive before 8:30pm to secure a spot. After that, entry is based on a first come, first serve basis.

2Pac documentary with poetry by Eddie Lartey, Jayda Marley, Sept 7

Toronto Poetry Project, the people behind the wildly popular Toronto Story Slam, join Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema for a screening and live performance inspired by the life and art of Tupac Shakur on the anniversary of the day he was infamously shot in 1996.

2Pac: Resurrection (2002) will be screened at 6:30pm which will be preceded by a special poetry performance from Jayda Marley and Eddie Lartey.
