We are back with another workshop, and it's a special one for two reasons:

It will be run by Dave Silverberg, the artistic director and founder of Toronto Poetry Slam! He has brought many workshops to schools and community centres across Ontario, so you're in good hands, poets!

The workshop will focus on writing spoken word poems with fresh powerful imagery, and you'll have an opportunity to perform poems you write then and there. So bring pens, paper, your laptop, whatever...and feel free to also bring poems you've written before in case we have time for an open mic.

Jamaal is making his TPS return at our regular season closer! A slam you don't want to miss!

We want to celebrate our anniversary slam with our fans and friends, so come on out NOV 29 for a show that's going to celebrate our slam proper!

First, the hosts are kickass: Spencer Butt and Andrea Thompson two poets who have seen TPS evolve since its early days!
