We want to celebrate Pride with our fans at our special June 24 slam!

The slam stage and open mic slots are available to you, budding poets and storytellers, and bring your words to the Drake on June 24, with doors at 7pm and signup at 730pm.

$7 cover.

Friday, May 19, 2017 - 8:00pm

For those unaware of what goes down at a poetry slam...anyone can be on our stage that evening! We do have a feature poet, Mona Mousa, but the slammers and open mic'ers are from this city's fantastic well of talent!

Doors are at 7pm and signup is 730pm sharp with host Tanya Neumemeyer.

You can compete in the slam or perform on the open mic. Note you should have 3 poems to compete in the slam in case you make it to the third round. Open mic is available to artists of all genres, not just poetry.
