The annual tradition continues! Toronto Poetry Project's Comedy Slam returns on June 1 with a special host and very special feature!

Our Comedy Slam asks competing poets to bring their funniest works to this two-round cumulative-scoring slam! 12 poets max. Normal slam rules apply.

This time, we are fortunate to have two guest poets from the U.S. to lead a workshop offering a unique angle...

"They say" is a workshop that tackles the issue of not putting a name to our lost loved ones because of a certain stigma or shame attached to their passings. Through writing prompts we learn to say those names again.
