Women of the World Poetry Slam Qualifier Dec 12 @ Supermarket

It's back! Our slam to determine who will rep TPS at the 2018 Women of the World Poetry Slam in Dallas returns Dec 12 at Supermarket.

Featuring Paulina O'Kieffe and hosted by Cassandra Myers.

You can compete in this slam if a) you identify as female or as a non-binary individual and b) have competed at least twice during the TPS season and are ranked among the top 12 poets who can qualify for this slam.

Doors 730 and show at 8pm. No open mic.

TPS brings a slam to Harbourfront on Oct 20!

We are excited to announce a FREE poetry slam coming to the International Festival of Authors, a first for TPS!
We'll be hosting a two-round slam at the IFOA at the Lakeside Terrace at Harbourfront Centre (235 Queens Quay West), with an early start time. 7pm this time around.

NOTE: This is starting an hour earlier than our usual Drake slams.
6pm doors 630pm signup 7pm show

Featuring British poets Deanna Rodger and Dean Atta! You'll be amazed at their talented artistry, poetry fans!

Toronto Poetry Slam returns Oct 7 featuring Randell Adjei reppin R.I.S.E

He's an inspiration to many young poets across the GTA and now he'll bless our stage with his words! Randell Adjei makes his TPS debut after many years of giving voice to Scarborough poets and MC via his organization R.I.S.E. Edutainment.

As always, anyone can compete in our slam or perform on our open mic.
Doors at 7 signup 730 show at 8pm
All ages. Cover is $7 all night.
