She has toured nationally and internationally as a spoken word artist, worked with thousands of youth across the country, and is currently completing an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia.
Her new album, Alessandra Naccarato & The Wild Hunt, is a collection of poems for survival, set to compositions by Ali Berkok (piano), Jennifer Slade (vocals), Matthew Hayter (guitar) and Lucas Tensen (cello). From our relationship to nature, to our relationship to each other, this album seeks out the possibility of transformation and reconciliation. Part love song, part call-to-arms, it is the culmination of years of writing by Alessandra Naccarato, fused with organic compositions by skilled musicians.
