Another weekend, another hot poetry slam featuring some of the top spoken word artists in the city!
This week we're honoured to have a GTA star, Faduma Mohamed! She is a spoken word poet and storyteller who started writing at the age of eight and performing at the age of thirteen. She attends the Performing Artist Training Intensive at the Watah Theatre where she wrote her one woman play "Oughtism". She studied at University of Toronto for English and Women and Gender Studies. She has completed her internship as a writer with Urbanology Magazine. She is also one of the organizers of R.I.S.E Edutainment. Above all, she's an advocate for autism and believes in the power of dreams.
